Open from 8 May to 28 October 2023

A spa cure is prescribed by a doctor and is covered by social security.
It lasts 18 days. You must apply to your health insurance fund to be reimbursed.
Reimbursement varies according to your income, your personal situation and the condition you suffer from.
PRACTICAL ADVICE

Before you leave, don't forget :
  • Your spa treatment agreement
  • Your medical file, which will be useful for your appointment with the spa doctor
  • Your Vitale card
  • Your cure accessories: swimming costume, sandals, swimming cap, etc.
On arrival, after having consulted a spa doctor, you should take your medical prescription to the spa reception desk, where you will need to present :
  • Booking confirmation

  • Your medical prescription
  • Your cure schedule will be given to you on the basis of your prescription.
The duration of the treatments varies according to your prescription. Allow between 1h30 and 2h30 of treatment per day.
At the end of the treatment :
  • For the payment of the cure, the Etablissement Thermal practices third-party payment for the majority of treatments.
  • Depending on the type of treatment, you may be issued with a co-payment voucher.
  • Once the co-payment has been made, you will be sent a receipted invoice as well as a cure certificate to send to your mutual insurance company for reimbursement.

Respiratory tract / ENT

The ENT sphere (nose, throat, ear) plays a very important role in the body. It plays a protective role against infectious agents that threaten the respiratory tract. Eaux-Chaudes has a flattering reputation for treating the upper respiratory tract.
As early as the first year of treatment, a clinical improvement in the patient's state of health was noted in 71% of cases, along with a reduction in the use of medication. After three cures, the figures reach 76% improvement.

Rheumatology

Rheumatism is a term used to describe back, joint, knee and hip pain. It affects more than 25% of the French population. There are 3 types of rheumatism: inflammatory, degenerative and chronic inflammatory.
A significant improvement in health is observed in 71% of spa-goers, and in 76% after the 3rd cure. The largest study of spa treatments to date, led by AFRETH, proves that spa treatments provide the best possible treatment for osteoarthritis of the knee.

Fibromyalgia

Widespread joint and muscle pain, fatigue, sleep problems... fibromyalgia is a painful rheumatic condition associated with stiff muscle tissue. Spa treatment is one of the most effective non-medicinal treatments available. We can offer you tailored treatments with medical supervision.

Asthma in children

Childhood asthma seems to be very sensitive to sulphur treatment, and this is true from the very first course of treatment. The thermal gases in the Eaux-Chaudes prove to have a beneficial effect, both in terms of their immediate sedative effect on attacks and their deep and lasting effect.
